Associations and groups are a great source for information on the best practices for safe patient handling and to stay current with evolving regulations. Southern Minnesota Inspection is focused on leading the way with safe patient handling protocols, staying up to date on the latest regulations, and providing the ability and knowledge to put them into action.
Our goal is to be the best at providing facilities with the tools and the ability to be successful and compliant with their safe patient handling programs. Our inspections ensure that the equipment is safe for use, and everything is in working order and secure. Providing the patients with a safe and dignified way to be easily transferred. The second part of safe patient handling is the facilities staff safety. All together with passing inspections, getting any needed repairs, and training staff, we ensure that the equipment is safe and ready for use. When the staff has easy access to functioning, up to date equipment, they can safely and confidently provide transfers for their patients without risking injury to themselves, or patients by reverting to old methods of transferring patients.
